Jenny is my old sorority sister, college roommate, and fellow rollerblade enthusiast. We have shared so many good times together over the years, and I am looking forward to experiencing this ‘adult’ life together. I am so, so happy that her and Taylor have found forever love within each other, and I am sending my best wishes for a long and blissful marriage from across the pond. Adjusting to Winter has been quite an experience, especially with our affinity for shorts and flip flops. This weekend we had a blast with our new friends Sergio and Rodrigo (both new to snow as well) sledding and snowboarding down the hills around town. I didn’t realize how intense sliding down a hill could be until this weekend – wow! I unintentionally hit an almost invisible ramp and flew at least four feet in the air. It was nuts! We also built a snowman, learned how to E-brake slide in the church parking lot, and had a run in with getting my car stuck in deep snow. Here are some pictures of our little adventure. I can’t get enough of the snow – but I’m totally jealous of the summer weather in Texas right now.

He loved being in front of the lens! We played musical pots and pans, ran in the grass, enjoyed veggies from the garden, went on walks around the Heights, enjoyed tacos and margaritas (tacos and water for ol’ T-Rex), and ended a full day with a surprise hug and kiss from the little man. What a day, what a family!
